Are you tired of nit-picking yourself day in and day out? Does your self-improvement list run a mile long? Maybe you consider these bully tactics helpful, after all, you have achieved A LOT of success using them in the past. But let’s be clear, bullying yourself can’t get you as far as self-love can.

Let Go of Perfectionism

I get it though, as a former self-development junkie, my mindset used to be constantly grasping for personal and professional perfection. It seemed there was always another thing to fix, in order to be “good enough” to finally make it and feel successful.

But then one day, something cracked, my mind could no longer handle the pressure of attempting to be the best at everything…. my soul was fed up with my self-critical tendencies.

Do you resonate with me? You may feel paranoid about what lies in the future if you were to stop forcing your way forward. You can release this burden and get on with reeeeallly living. Because, believe it or not, your soul already feels complete, whole, and deserving of success, without your minds interference and over-controlling tendencies.

How Self-Love Journaling Works

These self-love journal prompts will calm the mind and powerfully reconnect you with the truth of your soul. When you’re fully connected and aligned with your core essence, success is a natural byproduct.

Sadly, most people are living disconnected from this basic knowledge. Loving oneself is not usually a default condition in our society, unless you’ve somehow avoided all media, all people, and all marketing attempts littered in our society.

Since birth, we’ve been bombarded by the opinions and motives of other people. Some of these have been downright toxic, damaging, and designed to make you question your worth.

These messages detach us from a strong connection with our spirit and they make it hard to see with crystal clear clarity who we are and the inherent value we possess.

The words we hear, the images we see, and the treatment we receive all condition our minds to believe that we need to be something different in order to make an impact, achieve praise, or attain wild success.

Enough is enough! We need to remember the TRUTH and intentionally replace it with our past conditioning.

But first…. The Benefits of Journaling!

Journaling is like giving yourself a warm hug on paper. When you pour your heart out onto those pages, it’s like letting go of all the heavy stuff that’s been weighing you down.

Anything that feels heavy or painful needs to go. It only leads to procastination, overthinking, and action paralysis.

Journaling is a safe space where you can be raw and real with yourself, no judgments. Writing down your thoughts and feelings helps you untangle the mess in your mind, making it easier to understand, accept, and move on.

It’s a powerful tool for self-discovery and healing, paving the way for forgiveness and self-love. Plus, looking back at your journey, seeing how far you’ve come, is like flipping through the pages of a love story โ€“ your own love story, with yourself. So, grab that journal and let the self-love adventure begin!

Scan the list and start with the first few that stand out to you! Trust you are being led to the right choice.

โœ๏ธ Pro Tip: Trust the first response that comes to mind, it doesn’t have to be perfect or “acceptable”. These journal prompts will only work to the extend in which you are honest with yourself. So just start writing… no censoring!
